If you are a fan of Sleeping with Sirens, Memphis May Fire, or Breathe Carolina, then I am sure you have already checked the dates near you and ticket information for SWS's new headlining tour heading out this fall called, The Feel This Tour. Two other bands that will also be supporting this tour are Issues and Our Last Night.
When I first heard about the tour, I was hoping that there would be at least one stop in Ohio seeing as I am a fan of SWS. When I looked up the dates of course I was a little sad there was no Ohio date (what a shock...) but at the same time I was relieved because I knew I wouldn't be spending money on this show AND to be honest, after seeing some of the ticket options I'm not sure I would even want to support the tour.
If you are not sure what I am talking about yet... here are some pictures of two of the options:
Personally, I do not think that the first package is all that bad. Most shows now cost about $30.00 - $50.00 just for a GA ticket, so to have the rest included doesn't seem too rough. On the other hand, the next package option causes me some confusion.
To me, All of SWS (no, not just kellin) have always seemed to be about the music and their fans, not their money. After reading what "Kellin's Polaroid Package," contained, I don't know if my previous sentence still holds true? I am not entirely sute. When coming across something like this, how am I not supposed to assume that Kellin is doing this for the money? Does that make me a bad fan for saying that? I don't think so, but who knows. I'll say it again... but to me, an autographed photo and group Q&A with Kellin seems a little self centered and almost selfish... ESPECIALLY FOR $80.00 PER PERSON. So basically fans are paying $80.00 for a nice little selfie with Kellin. Why not the rest of the band? Where will they be? I thought Sleeping With Sirens was a BAND. I can't help but think that the rest of the band either feels shafted by this or left out, and maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the show and the band is really all about Kellin Quinn, after all this ticket really is an option. This whole ticket thing just makes me lose a little respect for Kellin. I hope he can prove myself, and others wrong.
In the end of this all, I am still a fan of the music made... and that's what it should always be about, right? I hope they prove to me, and many other fans that they are still here for the music, and not the money.
Bring Me The Horizon's Oliver Sykes even responded to this with a tweet stating:
"Next USA tour! Oli Sykes special polaroid package! Take a photo with me! Special price! Absolutely no charge at all! Fucking cockstars."

(this also scored a RT from All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth)
Hey guys (Sara, here). Wanted to include this update with Kellin's response.
I feel like this is an amazing deal for 80 dollars if you disagree then don’t buy it, no one is forcing you k?
“Autographed Polaroid photo with Kellin
Group Q&A session with Kellin
Signing Session With Sleeping With Sirens
Large Double-Sided Autographed Poster
Early Entry Into The “Feel This” Tour
General admission ticket to the “Feel This” tour”
keep in mind Polaroid film is super expensive, your getting the ticket to the show, you get front row over anyone else.. If you only want to pay general admission then just do that. However, if you do like the idea of doing all these things included.. It’s ONLY 80 dollars.. I would never charge someone money for just a picture with me.. I try and do anything and everything for my fans.. I do in fact have a family, and that family needs to be fed.. So thanks for supporting us and helping me continue to tour.. Without you there is no us! Love you Kellin
I would love to hear your opinion/thoughts on this whole thing. LET'S CHAT BUZZNET.
