Watch Cassadee Pope Perform 'Over You' on The Voice!

Well folks, its that time again for my weekly update on Cassadee Pope while she is competing on The Voice!

It has, yet again, been another successful night for Cassadee Pope on NBC's The Voice! As most of you may know by now (or already knew before), she is the former lead singer of Hey Monday. For this weeks competition she performed Miranda Lambert's, 'Over You,' which was co-written by her mentor, Blake Shelton. This is the first week that Pope has chosen to perform a country ballad and I think this song was perfect for her because it showcased her vocal range in a subtle way. This was a nice change of pace for her. She took a step out of the box with this song choice.

Christina Aguilera said, "You sold it." Cee-lo Green then commented on her performance saying, "Your voice was flawless tonight, what a wonderful performance."Adam Levine has been such a big supporter and fan of Cassadee since she auditioned and he wanted her on his team from the start. Tonight he said, "This was so markedly different from all the other performances we've seen from you... that this seemed to suit you the best... I want to see more country music from you."

Her mentor Blake Shelton ended with, "You made me feel like I was hearing it for the first time, and words can't describe what that means. Ladies and gentleman you are looking at an artist." And I have to say I agree with you a tremendous amount Mr. Shelton.
